An Ongoing Story of Commitment

Soroptimist International of Hancock County Area was founded to make Hancock County (Ohio) area better for women and girls. Since March 2013, we've been partnering with like-minded individuals and organizations to make our vision a reality. We're proud to say that our services have given many women the chance to transform their lives.

Our work is fueled by an unshakable belief in opportunity for women and equality for all. We put our hearts into our efforts and celebrate every step forward. Thanks to our dedicated volunteers and donors, we're creating a future that holds richer possibilities, greater tolerance and stronger communities.

Julie joined Soroptimist in 2017, and is currently an IT Program Manager and Microsoft Certified Adoption Change Manager for an IT Consulting firm (Core BTS, Inc.).

She has served on our board as Treasurer since shortly after joining. This summer she was elected to the office of President for our new biennium (2024 - 2026). Julie jumps in to help our club both locally and at the region level, serving as the region IT chair. She looks forward to helping our club grow in membership so our small, but mighty team can begin having an even greater impact on the area.

"We are lucky that, despite being one of the smallest clubs in the Midwestern Region, we have a group of ladies volunteering and creating a wonderful impact on our local community. I'm proud to be a small part of this wonderful international organization working towards the empowerment of women and girls around the world."
